p h y s i c a l i t y

blood type: O-
sexuality: Heterosexual.
appearance: Morgan is of middling height at 5'7" with a sleek runner's build, pale skin and clean, fine features. Her hair color and style varies depending on the job and how thoroughly she needs to disappear, though currently she keeps her hair medium-length and colored her natural deep brunette, layered to make the most of the large, soft curls that come naturally to her. She has the sort of cupid's-bow mouth and enough of a pout that she can and does work the innocent angle frequently. Her eyes are an icy, indeterminate sort of pale blue-green mix that rarely show emotion when she's not pretending, though she can look warm-eyed when she tries. Her gaze is sharp and observant, a little intimidating, and only gets colder and more menacing when she's truly angered. Her dress style varies depending on the persona she's adopting; it's gotten to where she's so rarely herself that her personal style might as well be a mix-up of all the various styles she's worn in the past.

p e r s o n a l i t y

behavior: When she's not pretending to be someone else, Georgina is largely unemotional - or at least, it's buried so deep that even she can hardly tell it's there. She's always calculating, sharply observant and intelligent. She has a natural bent towards sarcasm and is generally coldly polite at best. She can be patient, but has no tolerance for stupidity or ignorance. She's logical and efficient and doesn't like to back down from confrontation. To those that she lets close (who number very few), she's warmer and more friendly, though she'll never be a very emotionally demonstrative person. She's naturally very manipulative, and not someone you'd want as an enemy. She's also focused and determined - when she makes up her mind to do something, she throws herself into it wholeheartedly.

Like everything else about her, however, Georgina's personality changes depending on the new identity she takes on - or at least, when she's working a job it does. She's a social chameleon, able to fake warmth, friendliness, and enthusiasm when necessary. She understands the necessity of being social in order to get people on her side; one does, after all, catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. That's one of the philosophies by which she leads her life - when she wants something, that is. As Juliette Sparks she played the bubbly, ditzy sort of blonde rich girl that were always found on South Beach, of the type who'd never be suspected of anything. As Morgan Malone, she's smart (as her pride never allows her to play dumb for too long) and friendly, if a little on the quiet side. She's not isolationist but does tend to keep to herself at times, though most will think that due to shyness if anything. When she does speak up, she's generally engaging and has a knack for settling difficult people without a lot of fuss.
special skills: Skills associated with grand larceny/theft - stealth, lockpicking, pickpocketing, hotwiring, security disablement, firearms, some climbing skills (though those aren't often needed.) She can blend in with any crowd and switch personas at the drop of a hat.
strengths: Jack of all trades: In the decade since she finished school, Georgina/Morgan has worked a variety of careers - some for the sheer experience of it, some as a means to an end on a job. It's left her with working knowledge of jobs from stock work, customer service, massage therapy, executive assistant, auto mechanic, and finance, to name a few.

Self Confident: Georgina/Morgan has a pretty great skillset that she can bring to the table, and she knows it. She won't take on work if she doesn't know she can do it flawlessly - or as close to it as possible. If she says she can do something, she can do it.

Strong Will: Determination might as well be her middle name, because when she sets her mind to something, she won't stop until she's achieved it. Throw as many obstacles in her way as you want, it won't matter in the end. She may be delayed, but she won't be stopped.
weaknesses: Greed: Georgina/Morgan grew up wanting what everyone else had. Now she can have it, but that hasn't cured her of thinking that the grass is greener on the other side of the millionaires-only high rise. Sure, she has enough money to live comfortably - more than comfortably - but deep down she still fears losing it all one day. It's that as much as the thrill that keeps her pulling jobs.

Pride: Georgina/Morgan's pretty hot shit, and she knows it. It can come across as arrogance, however, and has put more than a fair share of people off. It also lulls her into a false sense of security, makes her that much cockier on jobs, and could lead to her capture sooner rather than later. Even this latest brush with the cops has contributed to that sense of pride, that she managed to escape where her mentor was previously caught.

Antisocial personality disorder: Georgina/Morgan fits three criteria and nearly all listed symptoms for the condition, including persistent lying and stealing, superficial charm, apparent lack of empathy, recurring difficulties with the law (or she would if they ever caught her), tendency to violate the rights or boundaries of others, disregard for personal safety, and difficulties with authority figures. It's entirely possible that this, combined with her lack of empathy, would make her capable of murder. She hasn't yet had to put that theory to the test, but one never knows.

Lack of empathy: Tying into her personality disorder, Georgina/Morgan also has difficulty truly connecting with others. Some of it is a matter of proximity, as she's rarely herself in a location long enough to connect with another human, and some of it is that she just doesn't care. She has the ability to make lots of superficial friends, but even those are really more acquaintances than anything else, as she keeps her personal life separate and only befriends others under an alias. This isn't to say that she's incapable of forming attachments, should the right person or persons come along, but at the moment it's far down on her list of priorities and, well, she just doesn't care.

Independence issues: Growing up having to fend for herself instilled a deep need for independence in Georgina; these days, she likes to do everything for herself, and resents being dependent on anyone. She believes she can take care of herself and doesn't like to be reminded that she can't do everything alone. She'll often turn down help even when she could genuinely use it, preferring to struggle along solo.

Identity issues: Georgina has ID, papers, and a backstory for at least two aliases at any given time, and has contacts nearly anywhere she goes for replacements if necessary. She's so infrequently been herself for the last seven years that she's beginning to forget who she is - the details of her identities can occasionally blur together when she tries to think of her real history and she finds herself attributing stories she once made up to her real life. She has all her fake identities straight, as those stories are generally simple; it's just her personal life that's starting to get blurry.

b a c k g r o u n d

personal history: Georgina was born poor, and hated it from the second she was able to understand why she didn't have the things other kids at school had, why her clothes weren't as nice, and why she never got to go on the class field trips. Her mother, Cora, was a high school dropout who'd never managed to do more than hold down a job as a supermarket cashier, which barely paid for rent and utilities in their crappy one-bedroom apartment. There was also a steady stream of "boyfriends" who usually weren't doing any better than Cora - but every once in a while there was one who'd provide a temporary income boost. Georgina hated them all, and likely this was what led to her eventual cold demeanor.

Always too smart for her own good, Georgina suffered her way through school. She never had any trouble with the work; in fact, she was always done long before the other kids, which led to extreme boredom and acting out. Living in the crappiest part of Salt Lake as they did, her teachers (and mother) either didn't recognize the cause of the trouble or didn't care - and even if they had, the school district didn't have the sort of programs in place for children like her, and her mother couldn't afford to send her to a special school. She soon found herself playing games with her mother's boyfriends, seeing how long it would take before she could drive one of them off. In her spare time, she read as much as she could, anything she could get her hands on, and took up running to stay fit, taking a job as a stock girl at the corner convenience store when she was fourteen.

At sixteen, she dropped out of school and got her GED. She'd planned on using the money she'd saved up from her job to go to college, but as it happened she fell in with the wrong crowd in her neighborhood - who turned out (in the long run) to be the right crowd indeed. It was they who first introduced her to the thrill of breaking and entering, knocking over gas stations and cheap apartments in the Salt Lake projects. The payout was often way better than what she could make in a week slaving away over boxes of product at the convenience store, and Georgina soon quit her job to work full-time with her little gang of wannabe thieves. From them, she learned invaluable skills - lock picking, pickpocketing, and the art of a well-told lie. She had a skill for transforming herself into a completely new person, preying on the generosity of good Samaritans for a ride home or a meal, distracting them with a sob story while she cleaned out their wallets.

After a few years, however, even that was small fry for Georgina, who knew she could take herself to the next level if only she could figure out an in. That 'in' came entirely by accident - she'd picked out a distinguished-looking gentleman for her next mark, moving in as he left the theatre where he'd been taking in an opera to jack his wallet and watch. He, however, caught her red-handed. Instead of handing her over to the police, however, he offered to take her on as an apprentice - perhaps sensing her potential. Once she'd gotten past her immense surprise, Georgina agreed. She left home to go live with the man, Colin, who happened to be an art thief of international infamy. She stayed with him for four years, honing her skills. She learned to pick a variety of locks, normal and electronic, learned how to disable security systems and alarms, all manner of infiltration. She learned how to become as perfect a liar as possible, and accompanied Colin on all his jobs all over the world once he deemed her ready. It was a rush, and the payout was amazing - enough that she could live comfortably for months off one job. She learned how to blend in, picking up a variety of skills as she took on each new persona in order to get the information she and Colin needed to grab the goods. She was so good at blending in that Colin took to hiring her out to major corporations under the table - she'd infiltrate their competitors and steal trade secrets, sabotage projects, whatever she was hired to do.

As good as it was, however, it eventually had to come to an end. A job went bad and Colin was arrested. Georgina fled as he told her, though she always expected him to rat her out. He never did, however, and at 22, Georgina found herself on her own and relatively loaded, with contacts aplenty for future work. After some trial and error, she found her niche as it were, in jewelry. Easy to find, easy to steal, and easy to sell - even if it couldn't be sold as a whole piece, one could always take the gems from the settings and sell them separately, melting the setting down to be sold on its own as well. She worked worldwide, taking contract jobs from powerful and unscrupulous people in search of specific pieces, but was never above cleaning out rich old ladies in her downtime. She went through a succession of jobs and personas until finally finding herself in Miami's South Beach at age 26. She was there several months, living as Juliette Sparks, blonde ditz heiress. It was easy to disappear for periods of time at night - everyone thought she was off doing coke in the bathroom when really she was hitting up a high-rise condo and jacking all their goods.

One night, however, Juliette's luck ran out. She'd disabled the security system at a celebrity pad on Star Island but missed the backup silent alarm. The police showed up, taking her by surprise, and while she escaped with over $20,000 in jewelry, it was only by a hair. Worse, the police got enough of a description (though thankfully not of her face directly) to make clearing out of Miami - fast - a good idea. In fact, leaving the country seemed like a good idea. Dumping her Juliette Sparks ID, Georgina dyed her hair back to its natural brunette, grabbed her identification papers for Morgan Malone, packed her things and got herself a job on the NausicaƤ as a massage therapist, relying on certification and skills she'd learned for a past job. It was a perfect getaway - she had the goods and paid transport out of the country. All she had to do was get into international waters and she'd be untouchable.
